1Customer Service Manager 

Seeking a hands-on, reliable, organized, and highly motivated professional to support all field and customer service aspects of our mobile power generator product.  

Job responsibilities include: 

  • Supervise the Customer Service department.
  • Provide technical support by guiding customer through the troubleshooting process.
  • Oversee the scheduling of all the field service installations, maintenance of generator and point of contact for field service while on site.
  • Determine and recommend which products or services best fit the customers’ needs.
  • Provide on site training for customers on usage, troubleshooting and installation.
  • Interact with production, purchasing, inventory and Fab Shop to keep customer service department updated with current information.
  • Funnel RMAs to production and help prioritize customers’ needs for repairs and return.
 

Must have knowledge and experience working with light and medium duty vehicles, specifically engine compartments.  Mechanical or electrical technician is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are desired. Must possess basic computer skills (Excel and Word is a must).  Familiarity with power generation electronics, electrical theory and principals preferred.   

2.  Manufacturing Engineer 

Will plan and design manufacturing processes for generators and electronic controls for mobile power applications. 

Will be responsible for application of lean techniques to analyze process flows and maximize efficiency.  In addition, will also be responsible for analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization. Determines parts and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification and company plans.  

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 5-7 years of experience in automotive field or in a related area. Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks.  

3.  Quality Engineer

This individual will be responsible for customer surveys and audits, witness and conducting First Article Inspections, source inspection, vendor corrective action, verification and follow-up.  Will also be responsible for initiating investigative, inspection and or testing activities on suspected defective products, in particular customer returns. 

Must be able to read and interpret blue prints/drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerances; be able to use hand tools and gages and other standard inspection equipment.  Must know statistical process control.  Must possess project management skills and be knowledgeable in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.   Requires a technical degree or Certification in Quality Engineering and 10+ years experience in Quality Assurance/Control. 

4.  Production Supervisor 

This individual will provide internal technical support of our product, hands-on assembly support at the assembly line, and will be responsible for product delivery on schedule. Will interface with upper management daily and will be prepared with current and projected status reports. Will also become familiar with our inventory system and be required to generate all materials requirements to deliver our products on schedule. Knowledge of ESD practices, Final Acceptance Testing, and quality assurance is also required.  

Must have a strong electronics background, be familiar with production assembly procedures and have 5 years experience in a supervisory position in the electronics industry. Must have at least an AA degree in related field. 

5.  Sr. Electrical Engineer

Seeking an Electronic Engineer who will lead projects from design concept to production.  Successful candidate will have a wide spectrum of engineering disciplines.  Will design circuits involving microprocessors, power supplies, RS-232, IGBTs and more.  Must be familiar with AC electrical power and distribution systems.  Will be responsible for technical support and diagnostics for our product line of mobile power generating systems.   

Requires 5 years of experience and a Bachelors degree in Engineering.  Familiar with software development tools such as Assembler, C+ and Visual Basic a plus. 

6. MRP Production/Material Assistant 

The purpose of this job is to assist manager in creating production and shipment schedules to meet daily, weekly, and monthly order requirements; prepare and issue production and shipping documents and reports which will best utilize available capacities and staffing to provide prompt shipment and quality service to customers.   

Must be familiar with the processing of material, planning and scheduling.College education or comparable work experience in a related industry is preferred. Must have an understanding of PC systems that support related functions.  Must have experience with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet applications (or similar production MRP systems). 

This individual must be self-motivated; be able to effectively handle multiple tasks (simultaneously) in a dynamic and challenging environment and a keen attention to detail is essential.   

This individual must possess the ability to plan, organize, and have a strong sense of urgency.  Additionally, be an analytical/logical problem solver, have effective communication skills, both verbal and written, interpersonal skills and be team-oriented.  Tolerance to changing requirements is important. 

6. Chief Scientist

Duties:  Oversee the research and development of motor and generator control strategies for both radial and axial induction machines.  Develop and implement field-oriented control algorithms and the hardware to operate them for optimizing efficiency of axial induction machines as used in Aura products.  Research, analyze and optimize power electronics circuits to harness energy from sources with random fluctuating power levels.  Analyze the flux density in a small gap axial induction machine and determine the most optimal control for torque/power production.  Design, modify and develop electric drive control and electricity processing units to combine energy from a variety of sources.  Participate in expanding applications for the existing commercial product including design and determination of the best mechanism to improve electronic system efficiency and minimize the size and weight of the electronics package.

Requirements: Ph.D. degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field, plus one (1) year of electronics/electrical engineering, research, or related experience working with power electronics and power-collection/energy-harvesting devices for random fluctuating sources; designing and developing power electronics circuitry for portable devices; and designing miniature and optimized components such as switching components, drive electronics or high voltage capacitor busses.  Must have research experience in the control of induction machines.
